The more I see

I now have the pictures from mine and Daves wunnerful Paws project, if u want to see me and him kitted up as a leopard or sky-god respectivley please leave ur email adress at the end of ur comment and with any hints to wat types of pic u want.

Also today I bought a freakish book of poems and short stories by the evil gothic genius that is Tim Burton. It so depressing its good,

"Unwisley, Santa offered a teddy bear to James, unaware that
he had been mauled by a grizzly earlier that year."

and

" Life isn't easy
for the Pin Cushion Queen.
When she sits on her throne
pins push through her spleen."

So anyway comment here about those pics!

Back to the Front

Well the return of college looms ominously (even tho we only have to go back for two weeks) but im looking forward to seeing people in general.

But work in general im not really looking forward to, iv dropped the hellish and EVIL subject that is ICT, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Whats your feelings on returning to, as ECPA puts it, 'the Grind'?

They're advertising in the skies for people like us....

Well, the drama project is over, with Josh and myself being pretty major parts to it (scriptwriter and leopard;lighting designer and sky god respectively) it all went dashingly. Shame it's over, and then back to the "normality" of college. Although, walking through Deighton areas in full costume and still made up had it's laughs...mostly anyway..

It's also far too hot and humid over the past few days, which is making retraining for running, cycling (and eventually the triathlon distance of swimming...stop laughing at the back!!) very hard. Even weighttraining in the cellar- the coolest part of the house- has been difficult, albeit at 6:30am after being awoken at 5:00am and failing to get back to sleep.
That be my rant over, but my arms are absolutely killing me...no pain, no gain or some other bullshit analogy I guess....

Music is the light you cannot resist....

REM concert last night, and for once I was so knackered was unable to make an entry in the godforsaken hours of the morning.
Despite major feck ups with tickets, public transport...and the fact that everyone trusted me to know what to do; it was pretty major f**king awesome.
Thus is the end of the concerts for a while, until R.B.F. or J.E.W. play and I can get tickets, 'till then...Leeds Fest....

Hello, Hello....

...I'm at a place called VERTIGO....

Yep, another early morning 'blog...I've just come back from the U2 concert in Manchester, whoich was absolutley superb and way better than I expected. My ears are still ringing, and my shoulder is a bit stiff..
We almost never made it there, thanks to Ticketmaster being crap as usual, and Jonny taking us on some trip around Manchester and in a local's words "The Stadium's f**king miles away from here mate". Also, some total clever dick pulled the emergency cord on the train, causing it to stop for 15 minutes about 100m away from the sodding platform.
There ya go, U2...Superb.

Give a medal to...

...well me, but also to the person or persons who coined the following hilarious phrase that if said properly, and in the right tone...you can't help but totally laugh your arse off....

"It seems that the shit has truely hit the fan now...."

Whoever discovered that (experimentally or otherwise) needs medal

Edits and Ponderings

In answer to Lexie's old question about the sweets....My faves were Sherbert Lemons and Fruit Pastilles.
However, after a quiet day of hangover recovery (hur hur) I was able to ponder this nostalgic thought....

"Cans of cider for 59p, gambolling around and gambling on the Epsom Downs, followed by the bruising of the ribs by riding backwards on an amusement arcade ride for a giggle. If only you could bottle and sell that kind of class"
Irreverent, and true too ;)

Queue orderly to see the Reject

Merr.......what an indifferent weekend. I have returned from my "exile" to witness chavs, deprivation, general poor dealies and Hull. Basically on saturday night, I had to go to some folk reunion dealy...of which i foresaw that it would be dull and hellish....
So, there I was, sat in the corner of the room with a notebook and harmonica, writing new songs about...erm...well whatever came to my mind while people kept buying me pity drinks (in exchange for the blues, in my day we could get pity drinks without a song...grr...)
Having written a REALLY bitter song, Shadenfraude, I set about making a harmonica tune amongst the gargles of alcohol....then I hit MSN....
"It's never a good idea to drown your sorrows, they know how to swim" Profound for ya ;)

I'm an actor me

Well im home from another fantastic performance by ME! I'm sure you all came (hah yeah) and saw how unbeatably amazing i was. Hah, all the 'dancers' (thats 'Suga Brown and the TT Dancers") didnt get the jokes cos they were all thick chavs. T 'T in the park' group (thats us) were easily the best, the only thing that spoilt it was the chavs who taked thru it and were consequently yelled down at by my mother, a fate worse than a fate worse than death.

got to go now, said mother need to use the phone
